Slumber Sundays. I love Sundays, relaxing , football, sunday brunches and dinners. This weekend the annual Sparkcon happened in Raleigh. We went to the fashion show friday night it was great! Rainy Saturday. Blah. I went to the roller derby for the first time today, a lot of my friends dragged me out to see it. At first I was clueless but after a few drinks it became fun. Roller Derby is brutal though, reminded me of football, but with skates. Other than that I didnt do much, Fashion show stuff tomorrow. Excited. Im not going to go into much detail about what happened last night on the VMAs. If you havent heard about it by now then you're def not o this planet. But my question is to when has it ever been right to act completely ignorant in public? Especially if you may or may not be a role model to others who are watching you're every move. Yes, im speaking on behalf of Kanye. He did post an apology to the public later after the showon his blog which got deleted later. But in his apology he metions that he is "sorry for being real"..... when has being "real" mean acting like a complete ignorant ass person. You can be real and at the same time know where your presence is needed, and kanye you weren't needed. I'm not a big Taylor Swift fan, but I still don't think it was fair to go and crush the young girl's dream not to mention making her fans upset too. Kanye as one of you're fans, you've lost complete respect from me.

Jay deserves to be on the OKFB bad ass list, for his amazing week this week.
The most anticipated BP3 came out September 9th. And was def worth the wait,for there is not a single song on the album that u wont like. I really can't choose a favorite. But the entire CD is boss shit.

Jay killed it last night in his 9/11 Charity concert in Madison Square Garden. The concert was hosted live on FUSE last night @ 9pm. One of the most epic concerts i've ever seen. Jig performed a couple old school songs mixed in with some of the new hits from BP3. Tons of amazing artists appeared like : rhianna, yeezy, diddy, john mayer, kid cudi, pharrell, Mary J B, Beyonce, Swizz Beats, etc. the list goes on. Hov kept the concept of the concert in mind the entire time, and performed an amazing tribute for the 9/11 victims. Jay hyped up his audience and myself, and offered one of the most amazing concerts. Jay Z this is your week.

Mayo and egg treatment

ok this is pretty nasty... i have to admit but this treatment goes waayyyy back. ask any one and they'll tell you that this simple step will help your hair look so shiny and add extra volume.
first off: take one large egg and a cup of mayo*
*this all depends on the amount of hair you have
next: mix the two in a sepearate bowl, once mixed part your hair section by section and apply from the roots to the ends of hair with hands*
* wear gloves cause this gets a bit messy.
once your hair is filled with nasty mayo and egg, leave it in your hair for about 30 minutes min. use a shower cap to trap in the moisture (and to keep ypur house from smelling like mayo and eggs). after 30 minutes or so rinse out the mayo in egg with warm water *do not use shampoo to rinse it out.
after: it is all rinsed out of your hair use conditioner to wrap it all up.

ta-da now you'll have volume-nized and shiny hair. no chemicals involved- the safest way to get great hair straight from the kitchen.
ps: you can shampoo anytime after you use the conditioner.

If you're hair sounds familiar to my nappy roots then bumble & bumble is here for the rescue. The article was an inerview with kravitz and BFF Olivia Thirlby (Juno). They talked about the twos love for vintage shopping and metallic polish. I've been on pause for a while.
I just returned to school and my wonderful, lovely dorm. and in celebration to returning to college i stayed out till 4am and grabbed a cookout snack at 3am. ah college. I have to admit i miss the privacy..a lot. I can seriously hear peeps next door and their convos.
Today, i been in tons of pain (starting from this morning when i returned to my bed at 4am) my wiseDOM teeth have grown in a lot during the period of the day. i tell you it hurts.

Addicted to jon and kate plus 8. This family is amazingg. Jon and kate (mommy and daddy) had two sets of twins (cara & maddy) and then had sextuplets: Leah, Colin, Joel, Hannah, Alexis, and Aiden; making eight kids. Pretty much the show is about the family's reality.

Filming their everyday life, you get to watch the kids grow up and mommy kate and daddy jon deal with 8 kids and have a life of their own on the side. I think Jon and kate deserve an oscar, academy award for parenting. they're awesome. I don't know how i would deal with 8 kids...i would fall out or just sit in a corner and cry.

But...these kids are just too adorable.

The crew goes to Cabo and Audrina finds herself in trouble with the bobby.

It's funy because the other day my friend came up to me and said "Jasmine you remind me of Audrina (because of my last relationship, somehow i can't seem to let go) , your now audrina"

Another not-as-shocking thing happened on the hills previous monday's epi.
spencer is at it again. trying to take over heidi's life and this time his target was Heidi's family, and of course dumb heidi dosen't see it. Spencer with all his evil-ness masters up a plan on his free time, all 24 hours of it, and convinces heidi to kick her sister out of the house. And just like that heidi kicks her sister who lets mention has no where to go and no job, out to the streets. Marking heidi's fam off spencers to-get-rid-of -in-heidi's-life list. I would say poor heidi but this is something thats pretty obvious.
i hope she knows that it's just gonna end up coming back to all bite her in the ass.

Is anyone as excited as i am about Madagascar 2?

Next to Romance movies, Childrens movies have to be my favorite movies. I mean finding Nemo, Sharktale, and shrek are some of my most favorite movies.
For anyone who hasn't seen the first Madagascar, which i don't see how, it's about a determined zebra who wants to escape to the real jungle and drags his friends (lion, hippo, and giraffe) to escape from the zoo in the big city to the wilderness in Africa.
Its a hilarious movie and its cute also, you can't beat that?

Another movie coming out in November thats a must-see is Soul men

With Bernie Mac and Samuel L. Jackson as the leading role, this movie is gonna be a hit.
I saw the preveiw on t.v the other day and it struck me, This is gonna be the last bernie mac movie. After tearing up for 10 minutes, I went online to look at the preview and it looks like its gonna be a really good movie, i mean what movie do you know with bernie mac in it to be dissapointing? Actually story says that Issac Hayes was also said to be apart of this movie also who plays as himself in the movie. This is a coincedence since both bernie mac and Issac Hayes died just two days apart. Which is another reason why i know i will be tearing up while watching this movie.
